Yard Associate – Stone Supplier (Elkridge, MD)

Duration: 4-6 weeks (temporary assignment)

Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable and motivated individual for a warehouse position with a stone supplier in Elkridge. The ideal candidate will be responsible for various warehouse tasks, including operating a forklift, loading and unloading trucks, assembling orders, and maintaining the grounds.

Key Responsibilities:

  Operate a forklift safely to load and unload trucks.

  
  


• 
  

  Load trucks for outbound shipments and unload inbound trucks.

  
  


• 
  

  Put together customer orders for pick-up and delivery.

  
  


• 
  

  Check in materials after unloading, including performing simple math tasks to verify quantities.

  
  


• 
  

  Cut and assemble sample orders using a circular saw.

  
  


• 
  

  Maintain the warehouse grounds, including trash cleanup and general upkeep.

  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  

  Must be able to lift up to 60 lbs.

  
  


• 
  

  Previous forklift experience is required.

  
  


• 
  

  Experience with simple math to check in materials.

  
  


• 
  

  Ability to use a circular saw to cut and assemble sample orders.

  
  


• 
  

  Bilingual (Spanish-speaking) is a plus but not required.

  Strong attention to detail and safety.

  Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
