Job Description :
JOB TITLE: WAREHOUSE RETAIL ASSOCIATE
PART/FULL TIME: 15-40 hours/week. Within hours of 8:00 am-5:00 pm Monday-Saturday; Reports to Store Manager. Saturdays required.
- Assist with store open/close procedures.
- Assist with product stocking, inventory, and display.
- Communicate effectively with clients.
- Follow cashier and cash handling procedures.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Cashiering
- Ensure count in and out processes are completed correctly.
- Accurately process cash and credit card sales transactions.
- Provide professional and courteous client service on the sales floor, throughout the check-out process, and in all client communications.
- Participate in scheduled bathroom cleaning.
Warehouse Support
- Assist floor staff with warehouse projects.
- Aid in offloading, inventorying, and stocking incoming products.
Product Placement
- Stock and replenish assigned product sections.
- Maintain product sections by sweeping, removing trash, checking for current signage, and ensuring safety.
- Support floor staff by creating signs for products as needed and conducting continued updates and warehouse walks to ensure accuracy.
Forklift
- Assist with forklift needs.
Required Qualifications :
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
- Retail, warehouse, or construction work experience.
- Prior cash handling experience.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to work in a warehouse environment - inside/outside (hot & cold, dusty), with loud heavy equipment.
