Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on trailers to ensure safe and efficient operation.
- Diagnose mechanical issues and perform necessary repairs, including but not limited to brake systems, suspension, and electrical systems.
- Conduct thorough inspections of trailers to identify any potential problems or safety hazards.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance tasks performed.
- Operate forklifts and other equipment as needed.
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Communicate effectively with the supervisor, Nick, regarding work progress and any issues encountered
Required Qualifications :
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a trailer mechanic, with expertise in maintenance and repair.
- Possession of own tools required.
- Forklift experience preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work overnight and evening shifts as required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
