Job Summary
This production position involves working in a facility processing poultry products.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities

• 
  

  Process poultry food products at various stations along the production line, including Debone, Breast Trim/Packout, Party Wings, and Tenders departments.

  
  


• 
  

  Place a cone on the moving line.

  
  


• 
  

  Use a knife to cut the wing from the breast.

  
  


• 
  

  Pull the skin from the breast.

  
  


• 
  

  Score the tenders from the ribs using a knife.

  
  


• 
  

  Remove the breast from the carcass, inspect for bones and skin, then place the fillet on the moving conveyor.

  
  


• 
  

  Adhere to all safety requirements, including Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and report unsafe acts and conditions.

  
  


• 
  

  Maintain a clean and safe working environment.

  
  


• 
  

  Follow instructions from supervisors and team leads.

  
  


• 
  

  Meet production quotas and work at a fast pace on an assembly line.

  
  


• 
  

  Handle raw poultry while maintaining food safety standards.

  
  

Work Environment & Conditions

• 
  

  Exposure to wet and moist floors with metal and plastic grating surfaces.

  
  


• 
  

  Cold and wet environment (typically around 35-45°F in refrigerated areas).

  
  


• 
  

  Standing for long hours and performing repetitive motions.

  
  


• 
  

  Exposure to raw poultry, strong odors, and sometimes loud noise levels (50-110 dB).

  
  


• 
  

  Heavy lifting may be required depending on the role.

  
  

Requirements

• 
  

  High school diploma or equivalent is not required but beneficial.

  
  


• 
  

  At least 6 months of consecutive work history with one employer within the past 3 years.

  
  


• 
  

  Experience in a poultry processing or manufacturing environment is preferred.

  
  


• 
  

  Must wear and use protective and safety equipment, including gloves, hairnets, aprons, and ear protection if needed.

  
  


• 
  

  Ability to stand for several hours.

  
  


• 
  

  Work may involve lifting (up to 50 lbs), reaching, bending, and pushing boxes on a conveyor assembly.

  
  


• 
  

  Must have steel-toe boots with a slip-resistant system.

  
  


• 
  

  Must be comfortable working in a team-oriented environment.

  
  


• 
  

  Background checks and drug tests may be required.

  
  


• 
  

  Employees should dress appropriately for the cold conditions inside the facility.

  
  

Attendance & Punctuality

  Must be on time and maintain good attendance.

  Shift work, including early mornings, late nights, and weekends, may be required.

  
  

Physical Demands

  Standing for 8-10 hours per shift.

  Repetitive hand movements such as cutting, deboning, and packing.
