Overview:


 


 We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our pharmacy team. The Pharmacy Technician plays a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the pharmacy floor, ensuring a safe and efficient working environment for pharmacy staff and customers alike.


 


Responsibilities:


Clean and sanitize pharmacy floor areas, including aisles, counters, shelves, and equipment, in accordance with established cleaning protocols and safety standards.


 


Monitor and replenish stock levels of pharmacy supplies, including medications, packaging materials, and ancillary items, to ensure adequate inventory levels are maintained.


 


Assist pharmacy staff with the receipt, unpacking, and stocking of incoming inventory shipments, verifying accuracy and completeness of orders.


 


Dispose of expired or damaged medications and hazardous waste materials in compliance with regulatory requirements and pharmacy policies.


Perform routine maintenance tasks to keep the pharmacy floor clean and presentable at all times.


 


Respond promptly to requests for assistance from pharmacy staff and customers, providing courteous and helpful service at all times.


 


Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, including the proper handling and storage of hazardous materials and cleaning chemicals.




Collaborate with other members of the pharmacy team to ensure smooth workflow and efficient operations.


Required Qualifications :

Qualifications:




  • High school diploma or equivalent required.





  • Pharmacy Technician License, State of Maryland.




  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow cleaning protocols and safety procedures accurately.

  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with pharmacy staff and other team members.

  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
