Job Description :

Overview: We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our pharmacy team. The Pharmacy Technician plays a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the pharmacy floor, ensuring a safe and efficient working environment for pharmacy staff and customers alike.


 




Responsibilities:








        • Clean and sanitize pharmacy floor areas, including aisles, counters, shelves, and equipment, in accordance with established cleaning protocols and safety standards.











        • Monitor and replenish stock levels of pharmacy supplies, including medications, packaging materials, and ancillary items, to ensure adequate inventory levels are maintained.











        • Assist pharmacy staff with the receipt, unpacking, and stocking of incoming inventory shipments, verifying accuracy and completeness of orders.











        • Dispose of expired or damaged medications and hazardous waste materials in compliance with regulatory requirements and pharmacy policies.











        • Perform routine maintenance tasks to keep the pharmacy floor clean and presentable at all times.











        • Respond promptly to requests for assistance from pharmacy staff and customers, providing courteous and helpful service at all times.











        • Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, including the proper handling and storage of hazardous materials and cleaning chemicals.











        • Collaborate with other members of the pharmacy team to ensure smooth workflow and efficient operations.














Required Qualifications :

Qualifications:



  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

  • Pharmacy Technician License, State of Maryland.

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow cleaning protocols and safety procedures accurately.

  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with pharmacy staff and other team members.

  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
