SUMMARY: Perform installation, set-up, and removal of machine mold lubrication and preventive maintenance on production and building equipment safely and efficiently.

RESPONSIBILITIES & AUTHORITIES:

1. Perform mold installation, set-up, and removal.
2. Maintain mold-related hardware.
3. Fabricate chutes and guards to prevent cap loss and runner loss.
4. Must keep accurate paperwork.
5. Must perform any other assigned duties.
6. Accepts responsibility to comply with all safety, quality, customer, ISO, SQF, and any other regulatory requirements. And has the authority to report concerns that could impact these requirements or suggest areas for improvement.

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. High school diploma or equivalent combination of education/experience.
2. Must have excellent attendance and a good work record.
3. Must be familiar with mold preventative maintenance inspections.
4. Must have good housekeeping skills.
5. Must score a 42 or higher on the Bennett Mechanical Comprehension Test.
6. Must have good knowledge of mold components.
7. Must have own tools and be available to work overtime.
8. Must be tow motor certified.
9. Must have creative problem-solving ability.
10. Must be able to work independently with some supervision.
11. Capable of physical mobility including walking, sitting, climbing, bending, twisting, standing, pushing, pulling, and lifting/moving (up to 50 pounds periodically).
12. Able to work in a production environment, around moving mechanical parts, and recognizing various sounds and alarms.
13. Must be able to perform all duties in a safe and effective manner.
