Job Description :

SUMMARY: Perform set-up and troubleshooting on production equipment in a safe and efficient manner.



RESPONSIBILITIES & AUTHORITIES:



1. Set-up and troubleshoot Injection Molding, Compression Molding and Lining machines.
2. Maintain machine efficiency, achieve optimal processing parameters, drive cycle time
improvements.
3. Evaluate machinery, attend necessary meetings to improve efficiencies, and work with Mold
Shop to help maintain the tooling efficiency.
4. Provide direction, training, and coaching for Maintenance / Moldsetting Mechanics.
5. Assist with shift supervision and fill-in supervisor as needed.
6. Develop technical training procedures and programs.
7. Drive Safety, Quality, and Productivity goals.
8. Must perform any other assigned duties.
9. Accepts responsibility to comply with all safety, quality, customer, ISO, SQF and any other
regulatory requirements. And has the authority to report concerns that could impact these
requirements or suggest areas for improvement.


Required Qualifications :

QUALIFICATIONS:




1. 15+ years experience in servicing injection, compression and lining machines.
2. Knowledge and application of all types of downstream / auxiliary equipment.
3. Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
4. Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
5. Must have excellent attendance.
6. Must have good understanding and experience with hydraulic, electrical and mechanical
equipment.
7. Preferred score of 50 or higher on Bennett Mechanical Comprehension Test.
8. Must be able to multi-task in a fast paced production environment.
9. Good communication and leadership skills.
10. Capable of physical mobility including walking, sitting, bending, twisting, standing, pushing,
pulling and lifting (up to 50 pounds periodically).
11. Able to work safely in a production environment around moving mechanical parts, recognizing
various sounds and alarms.
12. Able to work overtime as needed.
