Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Mechanic to join our team at a commercial laundry facility. As a Skilled Mechanic, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting a variety of mechanical equipment and machinery used in the laundry operations. Your expertise will ensure the facility’s equipment operates at peak performance, minimizing downtime and maximizing productivity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Equipment Maintenance & Repair: Perform routine and preventive maintenance on all machinery, including washers, dryers, conveyors, and folding equipment. Identify and repair mechanical issues promptly.


• Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues with laundry equipment and systems.


• Machine Installations: Assist in the installation of new equipment and ensure it is set up and operating correctly.


• Inventory Management: Monitor and maintain inventory of spare parts, tools, and materials needed for repairs and maintenance.


• Safety Compliance: Ensure all equipment is maintained according to safety standards and facility protocols. Follow all OSHA and safety regulations.


• Documentation & Reporting: Keep accurate records of maintenance schedules, repair work, and equipment performance. Report any significant issues to management.


• Collaboration: Work closely with facility supervisors and other team members to ensure that machines and systems run smoothly with minimal downtime.
