Job Title: Quality Control Supervisor-Baltimore




















Our team is currently looking for an experienced Boiler Operator to keep up our level of commitment to safety and customer service. This is a fabulous opportunity for a knowledgeable, hardworking technician to apply his or her skills in our production facility.




















Location: Baltimore Meat Warehouse




















General Responsibilities:

























          • Operates and maintains stationary engines and equipment such as boilers, air compressors, generators, and refrigeration equipment.





































          • Records data (temperature, hours of operation, fuel consumption, water levels, etc.), reading dials, gauges, and manuals.





































          • Adjusts manual controls or overrides automatic controls to start or shut down equipment.





































          • Conducts safety tests and periodically inspects, repairs, adjusts, and lubricates.





































          • Performs preventative maintenance of equipment, as required, using hand and power tools.





































          • Records and reports actions taken and feeds chemicals and caustics into systems and devices.





































          • Observe the results of water tests.





































          • Follows all regulatory agency policies and may be required to hold a license issued by a state or municipality that restricts the kinds of equipment operated to specified types and sizes.





































          • May operate a computer, telephone and maintenance tools and equipment.





































          • Identifies and corrects unsafe working conditions with management oversight.





































          • Complies with all company safety and risk management policies and procedures.





































          • Participates in regular safety meetings, safety training and hazard assessments.





































          • Applies all applicable OSHA and related local safety requirements to all assigned work.





































          • Performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures.





































          • May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Required Qualifications :

Job Requirements:



  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

  • Holds appropriate license/certification for the specific work to be done.

  • Must be able to stand, walk, kneel, crawl, reach, bend, climb, and occasionally sit throughout the entire shift.

  • Ability to reach, bend, stoop, push and/or pull, and frequently lift to 35 pounds and occasionally lift/move 50 pounds.

  • Manual dexterity, fine manipulation, the ability to reach with hands and arms and lift to 50 pounds.

  • Must be willing to work overtime, including some weekends if needed.

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.

  • Close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus, with or without corrective lenses.

  • Knowledge of and proficiency in all OSHA and local requirements related to all assigned work.

  • MUST have a station engineer license for 1st and 2nd grade only.


Physical Requirements:



  • Capability to stand in one place for 30% of the shift (8+ hours per day)

  • Capability to walk throughout the department for 70% of the shift (8+ hours per day)

  • Requires the frequent use of both hands and arms

  • Requires the ability to lift overhead using both arms

  • Capability to bend, twist, and squat as needed throughout the shift

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds without reasonable assistance.

  • Must be able to frequently push, pull, kneel, bend, and reach.
